The Beginning

I am starting this blog because Jason suggested I start writing down a few of my feelings after having Autumn, my beautiful baby girl. She is now 16 days old. I still can't believe that God has blessed me with such a beautiful little girl. She is perfect in every way. Everyday I look at her and still can't believe something so perfect could have come from me and Jason. I could not have asked for a more perfect baby. She has a very well temperment and sleeps almost all through the night. It's hard to believe still that I have a precious little baby, again. I know she will grow up all too fast and I try to enjoy every minute I can with her.

Her brother Joshua loves her so much. He wants to hold her everyday. It's amazing to watch him with her.

Jason is such a good father. I could not have asked for a better daddy for our little girl. He sings to her and talks to her everyday. We are still working on the diaper changing, but other than that he participates in every daily routine. We gave her a sponge bath the other day and daddy was right there video taping. Last night her umbillical cord stump finally fell off during the night so today we might attempt to give her her first bath. Grandma made us promise to use the towel that she bought her while she was down visiting from California, so we have to make sure to take pictures to send to Grandma.

Autumn has so many people in her life that loves her. Yesterday her Grandpa and Grandma babysat for us while we made a quick trip to Walmart. She was a good girl.
